Title: Home Health Aide (HHA)

Type of Position: Part time or full time.

General Description: Rivers Edge is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services in resident’s apartments.
  • Perform domestic and household tasks.
  • Administer simple prescribed medications.
  • Assist with clients personal care activities.
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, specimens, etc) and chart/report on their condition.
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services.
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.

Shifts: Day (6am-2:30pm), Night (2pm-10:30pm) and Overnight Shifts (10pm-6:30am) are available.

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour DOE

Title: Dietary Aide

Type of Position: Part time

General Description: Join the team! Rivers Edge is currently seeking individuals that are compassionate, caring, dependable to assist our cook with serving meals, clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes and keeping the kitchen and dining room clean.

Shifts starting at 7:30am and 10:30 am are available.

Pay: $10.50 per hour DOE

Title: Cook

Type of Position: Part time or full time.

General Description: We are looking for a caring, dependable cook to prepare home-cooked meals for a large number of people who have different dietary requirements. Flexibility with hours and willing to work every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and follow recipes.
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
  • Practice strict personal hygiene including proper hand washing techniques.
  • Utilize gloves when handling cold and ready to eat food.
  • Monitor time and temperature of foods.
  • Hold hot foods at 140 degrees F or above and cold foods at 41 degrees F or below.
  • Avoid cross-contamination.
  • Properly label and store food items at appropriate temperatures.
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
  • Ensure the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
  • Be sensitive to and meet the needs of the residents, following through with their requests.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff and managers.
  • Wear PPE when and where required.
  • ServeSafe Certification a plus!
  • A plus if you can make bakery goods!

Shifts: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
