Title: Home Health Aide (HHA)

Type of Position: Part time or full time.

General Description: Rivers Edge is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.


  • Provide health care services in resident’s apartments.
  • Perform domestic and household tasks.
  • Administer simple prescribed medications.
  • Assist with clients personal care activities.
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, specimens, etc) and chart/report on their condition.
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services.
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.

Shifts: Day (6am-2:30pm), Night (2pm-10:30pm) and Overnight Shifts (10pm-6:30am) are available.

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour DOE

Title: Dietary Aide

Type of Position: Part time

General Description: Join the team! Rivers Edge is currently seeking individuals that are compassionate, caring, dependable to assist our cook with serving meals, clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes and keeping the kitchen and dining room clean. 

Shifts starting at 7:30am and 10:30 am are available.

Pay: $10.00 – $11.00 per hour DOE

Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Type of Position: Full time

General Description: Family owned and operated, Rivers Edge Assisted Living offers small-town community living while experiencing the beauty of nature. We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct resident care and continually strive to attain the highest quality of care.

  • Possess a current state license of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Work under the RN to ensure direct and indirect care of residents and assist with planning, coordinating, and managing the services for our residents.
  • Exercises concern for the resident’s welfare above all else, while regularly evaluating ongoing resident’s needs and problems.
  • Monitor and maintain resident charts and nurse’s notes, orders, and appointments.
  • Assist in the admission process and paperwork with new resident admissions and discharges.
  • Perform duties in accordance with physician’s orders, the facilities policies and techniques, and be cooperating with other departments and facility personnel.
  • Communicate with nursing and physicians as to any changes in resident’s needs or conditions, as needed.
  • Administer medications to residents; perform cares when needed.
  • Monitor and follow thru with ordering medications, communicate changes with staff.
  • Have working knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor, maintain, schedule, train and supervise HHA staff.
  • When requested, participate in in-service programs, education programs, and orientation of new personnel.
